Ten minutes from Villa Paso Lento you will find The Club de Tenis Jávea, a well-regarded tennis club known for its welcoming atmosphere and excellent facilities. Established over 40 years ago, the club has a reputation for fostering tennis talent and has been a training ground for some of Spain’s top players, including tennis star David Ferrer (former number 5 in the world). The Jesús Pobre Sunday Market, also known as the Rastro del Domingo, is a beloved weekly event in the charming village of Jesús Pobre, a short 7 minutes drive from our villa. Held under “riu-rau” (historical construction formerly used to dry raisins) this artisan market showcases a vibrant array of local products, including organic fruits and vegetables, handmade crafts, vintage items, and regional delicacies.
