Miradores - viewpoints

Miradores – Viewpoints

One of the main natural tourist attractions of the Xàbia coastline are the exceptional panoramic views which can be seen from 15 scenarios – viewing points, which are laid out along its coast. They all comprise the “Ruta de los Miradores de Xàbia” (“Xábia Scenic Viewpoints Route”), exclusive enclaves next to the Mediterranean Sea where nature has created a landscape which will captivate all the visitor’s senses.

Here are  our favorites ones, while the full list is available on:

Ambolo

As it is located on the Cape of Ambolo, you are able to overlook Cala Ambolo, one of Javea’s most spectacular (nudist) beaches to your East. At the same time, you can walk over to your west, and observe the bay of Granadella and the entire coastline of Benitachell & Moraira. From here you also have access to visit the incredible cave of Cova del Llop Mari!

Cap Negre

This is one of Javea’s most special and unique miradores. You will find yourself just above Cap Negre, an impressive cape 120 meters from sea leve,  overlooking some of the most iconic geographical landmarks of the coast of Javea: Portixol Island, Cap Prim and Cabo de San Antonio

What makes it even more special is the abundance of natural vegetation and shade, as well as benches located around the area, making it a perfect spot for a picnic all whilst you overlook the beauty of Javea’s coastline. This also  is one of Javea’s most incredible spots for dates and romantic trips!

Les Caletes

This viewpoint offers a unique perspective of Cala del Frances and Cala Sardinera, two hidden beaches of Javea, on one side. On the other side you can admire the view along the cliffs and north towards the headland of San Antonio. There are a series of terraces with benches from which you can enjoy the view.

Els Molins

Located to the north of Javea, just next to Cabo de la Nao, this mirador offers a panoramic view of the entire town and its mills that used to grind grain, and which were built in the 14th century. Despite no longer being in use they still stand tall and are “keeping watch” over the beautiful town we call Javea!

Cabo de Sant Antonio

This viewing point is located at a height of 161 meters, next to the Cabo de San Antonio Lighthouse, giving it a privileged view of the Bay of Jávea. This mountain formation is the extension of the Montgó massif. From this viewing point you can see a fantastic panoramic view of the entire municipality of Jávea, with Cap Prim and Illa del Portitxol closing the bay to the south.
